William Larkins, STRIVE DC's evening Industrial Maintenance Man, has been with STRIVE DC since its inception in Southeast Washington. While not a graduate of the program, William has watched almost every graduating class pass through the course. He arrives daily in the mid-afternoon to ensure that the office, training area, and restrooms are clean and prepared for the next day. Like many of STRIVE DC's employees William has emerged from a rough background. Trouble with the police and an "in and out" lifestyle ended when he joined a rehabilitation program in 1998
